In this hybrid event, Sue Ditmire from Urbana, OH and Shalonda Ingram from Washington, DC will share the emerging story of the "Black History" of the Swedenborgian/New Church in the USA. We will hear about several key figures and valued neighborhood churches in Boston MA, Washington DC (pictured), and other places, that have become perhaps the "forgotten history" of the church. Enjoy your brunch in the Bakery section, two doors up the hill from Be Well Bakery in Huntingdon Valley. A hybrid retreat where all are welcome, taking some time together to consider "Responding to 'Conjugial Love' in the 21st Century." The editorial team for "The Women's Companion to 'Conjugial Love'" will share their latest news. Dawn Potts will share her passion for a more interior reading of the book, which helps with some of the controversies about the book. There will be some free time for relaxing, or enjoying the autumn beauty of the property.
